About the Role
We’re hiring a Fuel Construction Foreman to lead field operations and oversee job site activities from start to finish. This role is responsible for supervising crews and subcontractors, coordinating daily construction activities, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll play a key role in delivering successful projects—balancing safety, schedule, and productivity while representing TAIT professionally on every job site.

Training & Travel Requirementsall company travel expenses covered
  • Initial Training: ~4 weeks in Richardson, TX (25–50% overnight travel)
  • After Training: 50–75% overnight travel, sometimes 2–3 weeks at a time during peak seasons (weekends may be required)
What You’ll Do
  • Oversee and actively participate in daily field operations
  • Supervise job site personnel and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely and correctly
  • Coordinate materials, equipment rentals, and deliveries
  • Inspect materials and equipment for quality and accuracy upon arrival
  • Schedule and meet with inspectors; manage inspection process
  • Conduct and document daily safety meetings and enforce safety compliance
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure job site
  • Monitor project schedules, labor hours, and productivity
  • Communicate regularly with Project Managers and Construction Managers
  • Document job progress, including daily photo reporting
  • Report incidents, delays, or field changes promptly
Who We’re Looking For
  • 3–5 years of experience in commercial petroleum construction or related field supervision
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage crews and subcontractors
  • Experience reading and interpreting construction plans and technical documents
  • Ability to adapt to changing field conditions and project needs
  • Clear and professional communication with clients and team members
  • Organized, safety-focused, and detail-oriented
Certifications & Skills
  • ICC UST Install/Retrofit, Decommissioning, or Service Technician certifications
  • Veeder Root certifications
  • 24- or 40-hour HAZWOPER (or current refresher)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word)
Physical & Additional Requirements
  • Complete background check, MVR, drug test, and physical
  • Valid driver’s license & clean driving record
  • Able to climb ladders, kneel, lift heavy lids (with assistance), and work on uneven ground
  • Ability to travel to job sites and drive long distances as needed
  • Physically fit to travel and work in field conditions
