Role at a Glance
TAIT’s Boise office seeks an Architectural Project Manager to drive a growing portfolio of retail projects from concept through construction. This is a dynamic role where you'll drive multiple projects forward, partner with consultants, and mentor junior staff—bringing high-quality, brand-driven spaces to life in communities across the region.
What the day-to-day looks like:
- Manage retail rollout projects from concept through construction.
- Coordinate with outside consultants, agencies, and internal design/engineering teams.
- Lead project setup, design development, permit and construction documentation.
- Direct and mentor intern-level staff to meet deadlines and maintain quality.
- Facilitate client communications and provide updates across milestones.
- Track schedules, budgets, and deliverables for multiple fast-paced projects.
- Ensure design consistency and adherence to codes and brand standards.
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
- Team leadership experience, especially in mentoring and guiding junior staff.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in spearheading programmatic/rollout architectural work.
- Proven experience with retail or similar high-volume commercial project types.
- Licensed not required, but strong technical and documentation skills are essential.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD required; Revit and 3D rendering capabilities a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Team leadership experience, especially in mentoring and guiding junior staff.
- Valid driver’s license: travel to client sites or TAIT offices as needed
- Lift plan sets up to 20 lbs.
- Occasional business travel with notice
